It is far too common to see our colleagues in this industry have serious medical problems as they reach the age of 40+.  Many turn to self-medication through alcohol, or sometimes even harsher options.  On top of this, they often can no longer complete the work that they have done for 20+ years and have no path towards doing something else, which can lead to financial and mental health issues.

We feel that this is due to an industry gap that does not account for the needs of their staff long term.  When you think about it, professional sports teams play one game per week – landscapers, tree workers, construction workers, etc. are expected to play the game multiple times per day.  Why wouldn’t we partner together to safeguard our mutual investment and plan for today, tomorrow, and beyond?   If you look at the opposite end of the spectrum for office staff, you will find the same problems – just long hours sitting instead of moving.  This might be even worse for your overall health, which is why the values below are instilled for every one of the positions offered.
